Spokane Transit - DBE Meeting

Notice is hereby given that SPOKANE TRANSIT AUTHORITY (STA) has set its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for programs utilizing Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds for federal fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025, beginning October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2025.  The proposed DBE goal is 0.7530 percent.

The goal was developed in accordance with the process described in the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) CFR 49 Part 26.  A description of how this goal was established is available for public inspection by calling STA’s DBE Liaison, Jordan Hayes-Horton, at (509) 325-6032.  

Public comments regarding STA’s proposed DBE goal will be accepted until June 26, 2022.  Please mail or email comments to:  STA DBE Liaison, 1230 West Boone Avenue, Spokane, Washington 99201-2686 or Additionally, STA’s DBE Liaison will host a virtual meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022, via Microsoft Teams, where key stakeholders are encouraged to attend and provide feedback. Adoption of the proposed DBE goal will take place during the STA Board of Directors Meeting scheduled for July 21, 2022, and the final goal will be submitted to the FTA on August 1, 2022.
