On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) is hosting free information sessions on janitorial services for the entire state. These sessions are provided in partnership with APEX and the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber and will be conducted in both English and Spanish.

Additional Information: The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (Enterprise Services) is procuring janitorial services for the entire state. There will be multiple awards in each county. In partnership with APEX and the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber, DES is hosting this session to help janitorial businesses understand what this opportunity can mean for them. DES will review prior janitorial services solicitations and provide guidance for interested businesses on where to find help to bid on this opportunity.

During the session, we will:

• Review prior janitorial services solicitations.
• Provide details on where to find support for bidding on the opportunity.
• Address any questions you might have.
• Offer dinner to all attendees.

The DES solicitation is for janitorial services, including general cleaning, floor cleaning, and window washing. Janitorial services include, but are not limited to, emptying trash and damp wiping containers; dusting chairs, sides of desks, tops of filing cabinets, paneled walls, doors, ledges, and picture frames within easy reach; damp wiping desk tops, telephones, and desk fixtures; damp mopping floors; vacuuming upholstered furniture and draperies; washing vinyl furniture with a cleaning solution; washing doors and other surfaces; spot washing painted walls; cleaning door glass and inside partition glass; and vacuuming and shampooing carpets.
