Each year educational institutions report spending with certified minority- and women-owned businesses as well as spending with veteran-owned firms certified by the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). These reports provide transparency toward achieving the governor's goal to increase state agency and educational institution use of certified small businesses in contracts and procurement.
