A copy of the letter to Business Owners

Dear Business Owner:

The State of Washington is conducting a Disparity Study to evaluate whether minority-, women- and veteran-owned firms have equal access to compete for State contracting opportunities, and to evaluate any barriers to State contracting. Pursuant to a competitive procurement, Colette Holt & Associates ("CHA") was awarded a contract to complete this Study. CHA is a national expert in conducting complex Disparity Studies, and will be collecting the contract and purchase order information.

Please join us for a group interview of business owners to discuss your experiences with doing business with the State of Washington. These interviews are part of the Disparity Study the state is conducting to examine its contracting practices and to determine if minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses have access to full and fair opportunities for state contracts and subcontracts.

To attend the session that is best suited to your business, please Click Here. The link will generate a short survey, which will place you in the appropriate interview group. Sessions will last approximately two hours.

All persons requiring special accommodations, including language assistance, should directly contact Colette Holt & Associates, the firm facilitating the sessions, no later than one week prior to the selected session . We appreciate and look forward to your participation. Your insight and experiences will help us identify potential improvements and support the State's commitment to inclusion and economic growth for all communities.

Sincerely

Chris Liu
Director, Department of Enterprise Services
