05624 Fuel Station Inspection and Repair Services
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (Enterprise Services) is conducting a competitive procurement to award Statewide Contracts by geographic region for eligible purchasers to acquire inspection and/or repair services for fuel stations throughout Washington state. Fuel stations store, monitor, and dispense fuel and other potentially hazardous substances. These systems include underground storage tanks (USTs), aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), fuel pumps, and related equipment, such as sensors and alarms.
Through the Statewide Contracts established by this solicitation, Washington state agencies and other eligible purchasers may obtain contracted:
- Inspections: Regulatorily-required inspection and compliance testing of fuel stations, storage tanks, and related systems as listed on pg. 29 of Exhibit D – Contract. Individual component testing as needed for issues discovered outside of scheduled inspections.
- Repairs: Maintenance performed on a routine basis for the purpose of allowing the equipment or system to continue operating in the expected manner, and repair work to fix and/or replace broken components and return the system to working order. Services will include, but are not limited to, remote diagnostics and technical support, routine servicing, and repair/replacement of parts and components. Repairs may take place on-site during annual inspections if station(s) fails inspection and as necessary outside of scheduled inspections. Services may include remote, off-hours, overtime, and emergency repairs as needed.
This work does NOT include:
- Installation, replacement, or removal of the entire equipment/system or
- Altering the equipment/system as it relates to its size, type, or capability or
- Breaking ground or any other work considered to be construction work.
