2020 Drydocking, Repair, and Maintenance of the Whatcom Chief Ferry

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bid proposals will be received only by Purchasing at their office in the Administrative Services Finance Department in the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for the following:

2020 DRYDOCKING, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE
OF THE WHATCOM CHIEF FERRY

UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 23, 2020

At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (via GoToMeeting, per Governor’s Proclamation 20-28, see page 7 of the bid document), and read aloud. All interested people are invited to be present at the virtual bid opening. Late submittals will not be considered.

This bid is for the annual drydocking, repair, and maintenance of the Whatcom Chief Ferry and other related work as described in the bid documents.

A mandatory “virtual” bidder's conference will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM, from the Whatcom Chief. “Virtual” attendance is mandatory, and bids will not be considered from bidders who fail to attend the “virtual” meeting. See page 5 of the bid document for meeting details.

Award will be made to the lowest and/or best bidder. Whatcom County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities.
