2021-001 ITB - ADA Bus Stop Improvements

Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) is a Public Transportation Benefit Area defined by RCW Chapter 36.57A, providing transit service throughout Whatcom County, Washington. WTA provides fixed route, paratransit, rural dial-a-ride, on-demand, and vanpool service, as well as fixed route service into neighboring Skagit County.

WTA is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for a one (1) year on-call public works contract with an option for a second year to make ADA access improvements to a minimum of nineteen (19) and maximum of fifty (50) WTA bus stops and pads located at various sites throughout Whatcom County. The project consists of, but is not limited to, excavation, disposal, removal of items, installation of curb, gutter, sidewalk, concrete bus stop pads, and traffic control; erosion control measures; construction survey work; and all other work described in Plans and Specifications.
