Scope of Work: |
The Port of Longview is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the removal of existing broken fender piles and pile stubs and installing new timber fender piles. The piles will be provided by the Port. |

Completion Date: |
All work shall be complete, having gained a successful final inspection and received final acceptance from the Port, within 30 days after substantial completion, but in no case later than December 31, 2021. |

Sealed Bid Date/Time/Location: |
Bids will be received at the Front Reception Desk, Port Administration Office, 10 International Way, Longview, Washington until 11:00 A.M. on July 9, 2021 PDT, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. This Invitation to Bid may be canceled at the discretion of the Port. |

Pre-bid Conference and Site Tour: |
A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid conference and site visit have been set for June 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM PDT. The site visit will convene at 10 International Way, Longview WA 98632. |

Bidding Security: |
Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Security Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid. |

Pre-Bid Questions, Discrepancies, and Clarifications: |
Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the bidding documents or doubts as to the meaning shall be brought to the Port’s attention by the bidder prior to the bid submission deadline. Questions, discrepancies, and clarifications received after the bid due date and time will go unanswered. All questions, discrepancies, clarifications, etc. must be submitted electronically to: cengebo@portoflongview.com. During the competitive bidding process, bidders (and their agents) are prohibited from contacting any Port offices other than the Procurement Division to obtain responses to any questions. The Port may find a bidder non-responsive for failing to adhere to any of the above requirements. |
