2024-2026 On-Call Plumbing Services RFB City of Olympia

The City of Olympia is soliciting unit-price bids from qualified, licensed contractors to provide on-call maintenance, repair, and installation services for plumbing equipment at various City-owned or leased facilities on an “as needed” basis. The City will enter into a two-year unit-price contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

 

The RFB document will be available for viewing on the Builders Exchange of Washington’s website under the City of Olympia – Goods and Services Category at www.bxwa.com by Monday, November 20, 2023.

 

The deadline for this RFB is December 11, 2023, at 4:00 pm. Earlier responses are welcome, although all addenda must be acknowledged as a part of the bid package. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.

 

Please email Heather Reed, Procurement and Contract Manager, at hreed@ci.olympia.wa.us with questions regarding this RFB. Questions via telephone will not be accepted. All questions to this RFB must be received by December 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Questions received after this date may not be answered. Questions will be answered via an addendum and posted on Builders Exchange of Washington website at www.bxwa.com. Firms shall verify number of Addendums on the Builders Exchange of Washington website prior to submission deadline.

 

Please note: If you obtain the RFQ or bid documents through any other process, such as by public records request, you will NOT be added to the list of proposers/bidders and therefore, you will not receive bid addenda and other information sent to those who register as proposers/bidders.

City of Olympia in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d--4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color,  or national origin, in consideration for an award.
