Sealed bids are requested for this work.  The proposed work consists of (including all other necessary and appurtenant work) the following:  removing and disposing of asbestos-cement (AC), ductile iron pipe (DI), PVC, Permastran, and other water mains; decommissioning water mains; installing twelve-inch (12") diameter storm sewer pipe; removing and installing storm sewer catch basins; installing six-inch (6"), eight-inch (8"), twelve-inch (12"), and sixteen-inch (16") diameter ductile iron pipe water main; removing valves and installing gate valves; removing and replacing service lines; removing and replacing hydrants; permitting; construction survey and staking; material testing; project temporary traffic control; temporary water service and construction sequencing; temporary water pollution and erosion prevention; utility potholing; removing and replacing road pavement and installing asphalt overlay; restoring the site including property restoration; and other related work.
