24-22 Port of Vancouver Building 3300 Column Repair

The Building 3300 Column Repair Project provides an additional concrete pilaster (or column) underneath an existing concrete tilt up panel. The concrete pilaster will be dowelled into the footing below, an adjacent column and to the underside of the existing tilt up panel. The new column will need to provide full bearing under the concrete tilt panel however due to the nature of working under the existing tilt panel rework on the column is not feasible. The area is accessible from the exterior of the building; however, HVAC equipment blocks some access to the area. The existing tilt panel is currently shored, and the structure will remain shored until the project is complete.
