                                                                                  Adams County Sheriffs Evidence Building

 

Adams County is soliciting Request for Qualifications from Consulting firms with expertise in Environmental Studies/Soils Investigations. This solicitation will be for one project. The duration of the agreement will be from approximately October 1, 2025, through February 28, 2026, with the option for Adams County to extend agreement or agreements for additional time and money if necessary. An A&E, actual Cost -Plus Fixed Fee agreement will be used for the selected firm.

 

Adams County reserves the right to amend terms of this Request for qualifications (RFQ) to circulate various addends, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.

 

Consultants will be considered for the following project.

 

Project Description

The work to be performed by the qualified Consulting Firm will be part of a Preliminary Engineering phase. Work will consist of: Soils Investigations and any related subsequent work, for the development and construction of the of the Adams County Sheriffs Evidence Building. The major and some subsequent features of the requested services are as follows;

 

 

  • Environmental Studies/Soils Investigations.
  • Soils Investigations to include but not limited to:
  • Other items as defined in complete Project Description.
  • Analyze soils
  • Anticipation and management of ground water
  • Provide seismic design criteria
  • Foundation recommendations

Adams County reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm or firms for any subsequent work related to any or all phases associated with this project.

 

Project Location

The work to be performed related to this Request for Qualifications will be in a portion of the Adams County Fair Grounds located in the Southwest portion of Adams County near the City of Othello, WA.

Evaluation Criteria

Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria;

 

  1. Qualifications/Expertise of Firm and Key personnel
  2. Ability to meet schedule
  3. Approach to project
  4. Familiarity with Adams County
  5. Past Performance/References

 

Submittal

Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager, and number of employees in firm.

 

If using sub-contractors, for any portion please include sub-contractor information.

Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager, and number of employees in each firm.
