Adams County Department of Public Works solicits interest from consultion firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Bridge Design. Consultants will be considered for one (1) bridge design. The duration of the consultant agreement will be from approximately March 18, 2024, through July 31,2025, with the option for adams County to extend the agreement for additional time and money if necessary. This bridge project is scheduled for construction in late fall of 2024 and completion in early winter of 2025.

BRIEF PROJECT DSCRIPTION

The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preliminary engineering design and P.S.&E. for the bridge and roadway improvements of the Sackman Bridge #411-3. The proposed improvements include the design of one (1) bridge and approach guardrail. Construction engineering would consist of reviewing construction submitals and technical assistance during the construction phase. This project is federally funded and will be hel to Federal EEO reuirements also there is a required 13 percent DBE goal for the selected consultant. Adams County will provide site control data. Adams County also has complted an initial site topo.
