Airport Runway Slurry Seal

TOWN OF CONCRETE 2022 AIRPORT RUNWAY SLURRY SEAL Sealed bid proposals will be received by the Town of Concrete, at Town of Concrete Town Hall, 45672 Main Street, Concrete, Washington, 98237, (360) 853-8401, until 2:00 p.m. on March 22, 2023, and will then and there be opened and publicly read for runway slurry seal in the Town of Concrete, within Skagit County, WA. Proposed improvements include: project temporary traffic control, slurry seal, paint stripe, pavement markings, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. This project is being funded with WSDOT Airport Program and local Town funds. The total Engineer's estimate for this project is approximately $140,000. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond and payment bond both in an amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Town of Concrete. All bidders and subcontractors shall have a contractor's license to work in the State of Washington. Contract Documents may be viewed free of charge by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on Posted Projects, Public Works, and Town of Concrete. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Town of Concrete Town Hall, 45672 Main Street Concrete, WA 98237 upon payment of the amount of $35.00 per set, payable to “Town of Concrete” plus a non-refundable shipping charge. If shipping is requested, an additional $15.00 is required to cover shipping costs. Plans and Specifications will be available on March 1, 2023. Informational copies of maps, plans and specifications are also on file for inspection at the Town of Concrete Town Hall and the office of CRH Engineering at 817 Metcalf Street, Ste. 207, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.
