Notice is hereby given that separate sealed bids will be received up until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and then opened and tabulated for the Archie Anderson Park Building.
This Contract provides for the construction of the Archie Anderson Park Building located at 274 22nd Avenue, Longview, WA 98632. Parcel # 04242. The work includes construction of a new 2640-sq.ft office building. The project includes new utility improvements for electrical, communication, water, sewer and stormwater service for the building. The project includes structural, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other incidental work necessary to complete all the work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Special Provisions, Special Technical Provisions and the Standard Specifications.
Due to the current COVID-19 emergency the City of Longview will be opening bids by teleconference. Addendums will be issued with changing circumstances as needed. Bids will be accepted via:

This project is funded in part by the City of Longview Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program under a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The project is also funded by the City of Longview and Washington State Department of Commerce 2019-2021 Capital Budget under Local Community Projects.

All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the Washington State or federal Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates. Documentation shall meet WSDOT Standard spec 1-07.9(5).
Cash, cashier’s check, certified check and/or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid price shall accompany all bids.

The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable provisions of the WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction”, 2021 Edition, Amendments to the Standard Specifications, "City of Longview Standard Contract”, Special Provisions, and Special Technical Provisions included in the contract documents.
The City Council reserves the right to: reject any and/or all bids; accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City; waive any informalities in the bidding; delay the award of the bid until a regular Council meeting.
Bids must be sealed with the outside of the envelope boldly marked to indicate that it contains a sealed bid, the bid opening date, and the specific project involved.
