REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

ARCHITECTURAL AND Engineering Consulting Services

for WASTE RESOURCES FACILITY CARPENTER ROAD SITE DEVELOPMENT DESIGN

 

The City of Olympia Public Works Department is soliciting qualified professional architectural and engineering consulting firms to provide design, bidding, permitting and construction administration services for the site development of a new Waste ReSources Facility at the City’s Carpenter Road site (parcel address 6530 E Martin Way).

 

The scope of the services provided will include all disciplines and aspects necessary to complete this work; however, the initial contract will be limited to developing a 30% design submittal in an effort to help the City establish a project budget and timeline. The City reserves the right to extend the contract with the selected firm for the continuation of design phases and construction administration services.

 

The deadline for submission of proposal is Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. Earlier responses are welcome.

 

City of Olympia in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d--4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.

Please note: if you obtain the RFQ through any other process, such as by public records request, you will NOT be added to the list of those who receive addenda and other information.
