Project Description: Widen Auburn Way S between Hemlock St SE and Poplar St SE to accommodate two lanes in each direction, center turn lane and/or medians to provide access management where feasible, sidewalks, bus pull-outs, street lighting and storm improvements. The project will also add an eastbound turnaround and enhanced pedestrian crossing near Redwood Court. The Project length is approximately 0.5 miles. The project is needed to provided additional vehicular capacity, transit, and non-motorized facilities on the corridor.
Subcontractor/Supplier Opportunities Include (but are not limited to): clearing & grubbing, pigmented sealer, concrete flatwork, electrical, fencing, guardrail, HMA paving, landscaping, drilled shafts, HMA planing, rebar supply and installation, permanent signing, striping, survey, SEW walls, soldier pile walls, and noise barrier walls. As well as the supply of ready-mix concrete, pipe/utilities/precast structures, aggregate, geotextiles, and controlled density fill.
