PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Bates Technical College (BTC) has hired BNBuilders, The Miller Hull Partnership, and MW Studios as their Progressive Design-Build partners to deliver their new Fire Service Training Center (FSTC).
The project will be constructed at their South Campus in Tacoma, which will include a new 2-story steel framed academic and training support building (approx. 32,000sf) with a fire engine apparatus bay, teaching classrooms, instructor offices, locker rooms and physical training space. The project will also include a CMU and cast-in-place concrete live fire training tower (approx. 10,720sf) with outdoor training spaces.
ESTIMATED BID DUE DATE: August 2024
EXPECTED PROJECT START DATE: April 25, 2025
EXPECTED PROJECT FINISH DATE: July 14, 2026
