Sealed bids are being requested by the Board of Regents of Washington State University, for the above referenced project.

 

Project Scope:

 

Remove steel plate and soffit materials at upper exterior edge to expose vermiculite insulation. Abate loose vermiculate as needed to encapsulate remaining vermiculite at the joint with expanding foam insulation or similar product. Cap with continuous stainless steel edge banding. Remove all soffit material including cementitious stucco, metal lath, EPS insulation, stick-pins and adhesive. There are Four (4) Alternates for this project. Contract time shall be May 22, 2019 to August 22, 2019 for Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion.  Proposals MUST BE based on this Contract Time.

 

Project Physical address: 925 NE Fairway Road, Pullman, WA 99164.      

 

Bid Estimate: $350,000.00 to $400,000.00

 

Bids will be received prior to 2:00 p.m.; Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Facilities Services, McCluskey Services Building, 2425 East Grimes Way, Pullman, WA 99164-1150. Proposals will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Room, McCluskey Services Building.

A mandatory pre-bid conference for general contractors will be held at 10:00 a.m.; Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at McCluskey Services Building, then on to Project Site.

 

Parking on campus is enforced 24 hours a day, every day. It is bidder’s responsibility to obtain parking permits to attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and bid openings. Daily permit rates may be found at:  http://transportation.wsu.edu/TempFees.html. Identify the meeting and project when obtaining the permit to receive appropriate rates.
