Project Description: The Project consists of all work to be performed indicated in the Project Manual, Drawings, and posted Addenda. The Project includes construction services related to two (2) parts: building and site work associated with Fire Station 10 Construction Project (Part 1) and site work and right-of-way frontage improvements (including signals) along 112th Ave NE and NE 12th Street (Part 2). It is the City’s intent to award a single contract for both parts of the project scope of work.
Part 1 of the Project includes construction of an approximately 26,521 square foot new two-story Fire Station and associated selected site demolition, site work, building construction including installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The new station will include administration offices, four (4) apparatus bays, operational support spaces, crew living spaces, and sleeping rooms. The site work will include storm water mitigation, wetland mitigation/restoration, utilities, landscaping, station and visitor parking, and additional work as identified in the Contract Documents.
Part 2 of the Project includes utility relocation, sidewalk, and traffic improvements (including signalization) and right-of-way frontage improvement work along 112th Avenue NE and the intersection of 112th Avenue NE and 12th Street as identified in the Contract Documents.
