Special Schedule Consideration: Anticipated start of construction December 2022. PRE-BID SITE INSPECTION/MEETING: There is a MANDATORY pre-bid site inspection for this project. All those that wish to bid on the project will need to attend one of the following. The first pre-bid site inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The second pre-bid site inspection is scheduled for Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Please meet at 319 6th Ave N, Seattle, 98109.

Project Description: PW# 2018-043 PROJECT LOCATION: 319 6th Ave N, Seattle, 98109 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of the following elements of work: Demolition of existing surface and below grade improvements, shoring and excavation including the removal of contaminated soil, installation of substation screen wall, landscaping & irrigation, equipment vaults and foundations, grounding system, oil containment system, firewall system, water deluge system, and interface with other contractors hired by Seattle City Light (major equipment supplier) and all other work needed to complete the project as described within the project documents. All work in accordance with the applicable Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. 

Subcontractor/Supplier Opportunities Include (but are not limited to): Demolition, erosion control, structural concrete, electrical conduit & grounding, landscaping, hauling, rebar supply & installation, survey, and shaft drilling. As well as the supply of ready-mix concrete, conduit, aggregate, and disposal.

JCC encourages bids from all subcontractors and suppliers including Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (UDBE’s), for any item of work, or portion of an item, or combination thereof related to this project.
