NOTICE OF INTENT: Intent to use MCCM Alternative Subcontractor Selection Process

PROJECT: Lindbergh High School Phase Modernization.

OWNER: Renton School District #403.

GC/CM: Cornerstone General Contractors, Inc.

ARCHITECT: Bassetti Architects.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER: Hargis Engineers.

INTENT: The GC/CM and Owner have preliminarily determined that it is in the best interest of the project described below that the Alternative Subcontractor Selection Process be utilized for the Lindbergh High School Phased Modernization project.

COMMENTS, QUESTIONS, AND COPIES OF CRITERIA/WEIGHTS: The GC/CM and Owner are seeking written and verbal comments regarding the justification for using this method, the evaluation criteria, and the weights for each criterion for subcontractor selection. Prior to the public hearing, copies of the proposed evaluation criteria and the applicable weight given to each can be received, and comments/questions can be posed, by emailing Bryan Gormley at Bryan@CornerstoneGCI.com.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project includes modernization to 4-6 and an addition of 2-4 science classrooms to create modern STEM instructional spaces, complete renovation of all locker room and athletic support spaces, relocation/reorganization of administration and health clinic areas to create a secure entry, as well as upgrades to HVAC system throughout the building and upgrades to the parking lot.
