PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Enterprise Services intend to award one business to provide professional, licensed and certified childcare services provider to operate, manage, and staff the Washington State Capitol Childcare Center located on the State Capitol Campus in Olympia, Washington (collectively “Childcare Provider Services”). The Washington State Capitol Campus Childcare Center (“Capitol Campus Childcare Center”) is a newly constructed, approximately 9,600 square foot state-owned facility designed and equipped specifically for use as a childcare center to accommodate approximately 90 children. The site plan and information on the Capitol Campus Childcare Center is included in the solicitation posting on WEBS. The Capitol Campus Childcare Center must operate Monday – Friday, year around, excluding state holidays. The awarded bidder for Childcare Provider Services at the Capitol Campus Childcare Center will enroll and serve eligible children of Washington State employees (infants older than six months, toddlers, and preschoolers). To the extent that state employee enrollment demand is insufficient to utilize the facility’s resources, the awarded contractor will be allowed to supplement enrollment with eligible children of non-state employees, up to a maximum enrollment of ninety (90) eligible children.
