CITY OF COULEE DAM, WASHINGTON

                                                                                                                                                      ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

                                                                                                                                        2019 CHIP SEAL – DOUGLAS & lINCOLN sT.

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Coulee Dam, Washington, at City Hall located at 300 Lincoln Ave., Coulee Dam, WA 99116 until 1:00 p.m. on July 30, 2019 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud.

The improvements for which bids will be received are generally described below:

• Bituminous surface treatment of approximately 7,000 SY of roadway
• Approximately 5,055 LF of crack sealing
• Approximately 350 SY of pavement repair excavation and 145 tons of crushed surfacing base course.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal.  Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Coulee Dam.

Contract documents may be obtained from Varela and Associates, Inc., located at 601 W.
