City of Bremerton Request for Information (RFI) for Tourism Branding

This RFI is being issued to explore marketplace solutions for a Tourism Branding initiative that will inform the City of Bremerton’s future Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) structure. A subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be issued late this year or early 2026 to select an organization charged with developing a tourism branding strategy by the end of 2026. The City intends for the City of Bremerton Tourism branding outcomes and the DMO selection to be complementary and coordinated, and the tourism branding will help to shape Bremerton’s long-term approach to destination marketing.

This Tourism Branding Request for Information is designed as the first step to help in understanding what a branding effort will entail before the formal RFP process. The branding effort will establish a research-based identity for the City that directly informs the structure and priorities of a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), to be selected through a subsequent RFP in mid-to-late 2026. To ensure alignment, respondents to the branding RFI will be expected to either demonstrate DMO-level capabilities or be able to identify a qualified partner firm that can collaborate in the future process. This approach allows Bremerton to secure a strong, cohesive brand identity while laying the groundwork for a future DMO that can immediately activate the branding strategy and deliver measurable tourism outcomes.
