NOTICED IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Deer Park will open sealed bid proposals and publicly read them aloud on or after 2:00 PM. on April 8th, 2025, at City Hall in Deer Park for the 2025 Splash Pad.

The project consists of the construction of a 2,500 square foot splash pad in Mix Park. Ordering and installation of splash pad features with piping hookups and connections will be required. Additional sidewalk features will be made, along with site grading and the restoration of landscaping. Utility connections will be made to nearby facilities.

All contractors must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Deer Park City Hall, 316 East Crawford, Deer Park, WA 99006 at 10 am local time, on April 1, 2025 for those interested contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Sealed bid proposals must be delivered to the City of Deer Park (by mail at PO Box F, Deer Park, WA 99006; or in person delivery to 316 East Crawford, Deer Park, WA 99006) by 2:00 PM on the date specified for opening, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “SEALED BID FOR CITY OF DEER PARK 2025 SPLASH PAD”. In person acceptance of delivered bids will be available during posted City Hall hours prior to the bid opening deadline. 

SEALED BID PROPOSALS MUST BE DELIVERED BEFORE 2:00 P.M. ON APRIL 8th, 2025

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the City of Deer Park will be accepted. All bidders are required to submit a list of subcontractors that will perform work on the project amounting to ten percent (10%) or more of the contract amount.

Rejection of Bids: The City of Deer Park shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding document or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.  The City of Deer Park shall have the right to reject all bids and not award the Work to any bidder.
