NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for construction of the 2023 Watermain
Improvements Project will be received at the City of Enumclaw at 1309 Myrtle Avenue,
Enumclaw, Washington 98022 until 11:00 am on March 6th, 2023. Bids will be opened, read, and
tabulated immediately following. Proposals received after the time fixed for opening will not be
considered. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond, payable to the City of
Enumclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid.

The scope of improvements includes approximately 3,400 feet of 2” to 8” water main, fire
hydrants, water services, sidewalk replacement, HMA and concrete paving, and related
appurtenances complete with restoration.

Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List)
is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and
clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Enumclaw". Bidders must “Register”
in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the
“Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of
addenda. Written questions regarding the project may be directed to the Project Engineer, Lance
Talmadge, at ltalmadge@ci.enumclaw.wa.us. No response will be made to questions unless they
are submitted in writing.

Bid results will be posted on the Builders Exchange website shortly after bid opening.
