City of Grandview - Country Park Well - Drilling, Casing and Testing (HLA Project No. 22149)

City of Grandview 207 W. Second Street Grandview, WA 98930 The City of Grandview invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the COUNTRY PARK WELL - DRILLING, CASING, AND TESTING, DWSRF Project No. DWL27055, HLA Project No. 22149A including the following approximate major quantities of work: Construction of a new potable water well to provide a source of groundwater for municipal use. The well will be constructed to obtain the greatest possible yield (approximately 1,500 gpm) within the limits of well depth and diameter. The well will be drilled through unconsolidated and consolidated formations using rotary drilling methods. Well construction will include a surface seal, grouting, casing, well screen, development, disinfection, pumping tests, and site cleanup. This project also includes rehabilitation of an existing City well. This contract has one hundred fifty (150) working days to complete the work. Bids will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall, 207 W. Second Street, Grandview, WA 98930, until 1:00 p.m., February 15, 2023, and then shortly thereafter will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City Council Chambers located at 207 W. Second Street. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the following website: Planholder list and addenda will be available on the website. Bidders are encouraged to register as planholders on the website, whom will be added to the Planholder list and will receive automatic addenda notification. Bellamy, PE at 509-966-7000 or Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Grandview for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Grandview in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The City of Grandview is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. The project is funded through the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program with federal funds from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). All DWSRF requirements and/or provisions must be met by the Contractor and all subcontractors. American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements apply to this project. All bidders and contractors performing work on this project must be licensed to conduct business in Washington State and meet the Bidder responsibility criteria as defined by RCW 39.04.350.
