Sealed bids for the above project will only be accepted from Contractors when submitted to the City of Olympia using the online Project Bid Portal hosted by eBuilder. Bids will be accepted until September 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., at which time the bids will be opened and read.
Bids will be opened at Olympia City Hall located at 601 4th Avenue East Olympia, Washington 98501. The public may join a virtual meeting to observe the bid opening using the following link.

Please note: If you obtain project plans and specifications through any process other than through the Project Bid Portal and “Accept” the bid package or by registration on Builder’s Exchange, you will NOT be added to the list of bidders who receive bid packet addenda and other information sent to those who register as bidders.
This project provides for design of a downtown bike corridor beginning at the intersection of Washington St. and 7th Ave and ending at the I-5 bike trail near the intersection of 15th Ave and Chestnut St., intersection improvements at 10th Ave and Adams St., Union Ave and Cherry St., and Eastside St. and Wheeler Ave, improvements along Eastside St. from the I-5 bike trail south to near the Woodland trail, and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The
Engineer’s Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $420,000 to $515,000.
The City of Olympia does not discriminate against any entity based on any status protected by law in consideration for award of a City contract.
The prime contractor on a City contract of $50,000 or more shall comply with Olympia’s Equal Benefits Ordinance, Olympia Municipal Code Chapter 3.18
All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Olympia, in an amount of not less than (5) percent of the total bid amount. A photocopy of the bid bond or certified check may be uploaded through the Project Bid Portal, however, the physical copy must be received by the City at Olympia City Hall located at 601 4th Avenue East, Olympia WA, 98501 by 12:00 pm (noon) of the second business day following the bid submittal deadline.
