City of Redmond On-Call Construction Engineering Services
The City of Redmond requests a statement of qualifications from qualified firms to provide on-call construction engineering services for the City’s Capital Improvement Program. Consultants will augment and support City staff by providing construction engineering, design engineering, contract administration, inspection, and other related services. One or more firms may be selected to enter into a contract. The City does not guarantee that the Consultant will receive a specific volume of work or total contract amount. Specific services assigned under the on-call contract will be authorized by Task Order. Each task order will provide a specific scope of services, schedule, completion date, and budget for services required. Task orders shall be approved and signed by the City’s Construction Division Manager or his designee prior to beginning work. The contract estimated start date is January 2025 and estimated end date is December 2027, with the option for the City to extend it up to two additional years based on the City’s need for continued services and the Consultant’s performance. The City anticipates the need for part-time and full-time inspectors, resident engineers, design engineers, and office support staff to supplement City staff. Consultant staff may be required to be on site (job trailer or City Hall). Support may be required for night and weekend work throughout the contract. Construction administration support may be required for federally funded projects. The need is subject to change based on project schedules and staff availability.
