City of Shoreline Invitation to Bid Bid 1275307 Pump Station 30 Improvements
Bids are due no later than February 5, 2025, 2:00 p.m., Pacific Local Time Sealed bids will be received by the City of Shoreline (City) at the City Clerk’s Office located on the first floor of Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Avenue North, Shoreline, Washington, 98133-4905. Bids are due no later than February 5, 2025, 2:00 p.m., Pacific Local Time, according to the clock in the City Clerk’s office, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read.
This project is located at the southwest corner of 15th Ave NE and NE 170th St in Shoreline, WA and proposes to make improvements to Pump Station 30, including construction of a new pump station with controls, valve vault and wet well, pond improvements, stormwater pretreatment and basic treatment systems, civil and mechanical improvements, electrical and control systems, new electrical utility services, site and frontage improvements, restoration of public right-of-way, site landscaping, and other work. The estimated construction cost is $2,650,000. The time for physical completion of the Work is within 180 working days.

This project is subject to state requirements pertaining to prevailing wage payment and reporting and a 15% apprenticeship utilization requirement. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The conference will begin at the PS-30 site, 1243 NE 170th St, Shoreline, Washington at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Local Time. Prospective bidders are encouraged to participate.
No other site visits that allow entry into the fenced area will be permitted. All bid proposals must be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Provisions. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of such bid proposal, payable to the City of Shoreline. Cash will not be accepted. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities and to make award of the project to the responsible bidder with the lowest responsive bid, as it best serves the interest of the City. All bidding must satisfy the Terms and Conditions set forth in the Contract Documents. Irregular proposals will be rejected in accordance with Special Provision 1-02.13.

It is recommended that Bidders “Register” on the “Self-Registered Bidders List” with BXWA to be notified automatically of addendum or updates on this project.
