SEALED BIDS for PROJECT 2020-04 Colby Administration Office Upgrades will be received by the Everett Housing Authority – Administration Office/Finance Department at 3107 Colby Avenue, Everett, Washington 98201 until 3:00 PM on March 11, 2020.

 

There will be two pre-bid walks through on February 2, 2020 starting at 2:00 PM (PST) and February 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM PST.  We will begin the walk thru in the lobby at 3107 Colby Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.

 

Project Estimate $900,000-$999,000

 

Project Background:

 

The work site is located at 3107 Colby Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. This is the main office of the housing authority and will be occupied by staff during these upgrades.

 

The term of this project is scheduled for 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. This work will be completed in an occupied office building. Work shall be done after regular business hours and on weekends. Regular business hours would be considered as Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM PST.

 

Project Scope of Work:

 

Renovation of the existing employee restrooms (an area of approximately 700 square feet) located on the south side of the main floor of the building, convert an existing basement room (labeled “Mechanical Equipment” on the original building drawings) of approximately 850 square feet to a file storage room, convert the existing basement-level storage room of approximately 1,500 square feet to a conference room with associated storage and restrooms, convert the existing main floor conference room to a mix of new offices and workstations, and add a passenger elevator connecting the basement level,  main floor and mid-point breakroom floor.

 

Remove and reinstall one of the lobby public restroom doors as specified. Remove and reinstall new baby changing stations.

 

This work will include the asbestos abatement, electrical, data, elevator, plumbing, mechanical and structural for a complete project.

 

Work concerning areas of asbestos containing materials. Contractor shall follow the work plan as outlined in the bid manual.
