Community-Based Organization Opioid Use Disorder Prevention Grants

The Washington State Health Care Authority, hereafter called “HCA,” is initiating this Request for Applications (RFA) to solicit Applications from firms interested in participating on a project to implement substance use disorder prevention services, focusing on Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) prevention in Washington State.
HCA intends to award multiple Contracts to provide the services described in this RFA.

The HCA Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) intends to increase community capacity to implement direct prevention service programs to communities experiencing the highest need and risk from OUD. HCA will award multiple Contracts to Tribal governments or Urban Indian Organizations, public or private Community-Based Organizations, and government agencies (e.g., school districts, law enforcement agencies, city/county, and Educational Service Districts (ESD)). Awarded applicants will be required to provide quality and culturally appropriate Evidence-Based Programs (EBPs) and Research-Based Programs (RBPs), as well as information dissemination activities to prevent opioid and other substance misuse in their communities.
