Long Term Care and Aging

 

 

Snohomish County is soliciting responses from organizations to procure a service provider to deliver Congregate Nutrition Services to older adults, age 60 and over, residing in Snohomish County. The Congregate Nutrition Services program provides nutritionally sound and satisfying meals at multiple locations in Snohomish County.  In addition to the healthy meals, the program offers opportunities for socialization, information on healthy aging, and meaningful volunteer roles.

The successful RFP candidate will contract for the amount of $658,755 (no guarantee of funding) and the six-month contract will be from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.  Twelve-month contracts will be available in 2027, 2028, and 2029 depending on need, performance, and funding availability.     

Snohomish County Long Term Care and Aging developed the Request for Proposal (RFP) describing the schedule, scope of work, qualification requirements and instructions for completing the RFP.  Copies of the RFP can be obtained starting Thursday, November 13, 2025 by going to the Snohomish County Website at https://www.snohomishcountywa.gov/1038/ or by e-mailing the SHS-SpecialProjects@co.snohomish.wa.us.  

 

A mandatory letter of Intent to apply for RFP must be submitted Tuesday, December 2, 2025, by 4:00 p.m. local time. Organizations not submitting a letter of intent by due date and time will forfeit their right to apply for RFP. Letters of intent to apply for RFP are to be submitted via e-mail to:

The deadline for submitting Mandatory Letters of Intent is Tuesday, December 2, 2025 by 4:00 p.m. local time.   Application deadline is Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
