Consultants For Kitsap Lake Elementary Safe Routes To School, Bremerton WA

CITY OF BREMERTON NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR
KITSAP LAKE ELEMENTARY SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL (SRTS)

 

The City of Bremerton solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Material Testing for federally funded projects. This agreement will be for approximately 16 months in duration with the option for the City of Bremerton to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Consultants will be considered for the following project.

The City of Bremerton reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.

Project Description

The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of sampling and testing materials for improvements to the following project:

Kitsap Lake Elementary SRTS: Installation of permeable sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA curb ramps, crosswalk, illumination, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, raised crosswalk, school speed zone flashing beacons, signing, redi-rock cut and fill walls, and storm water drainage.

Evaluation Criteria

Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:

1)   Qualifications/Expertise of Firm

2)   Ability to meet schedule

3)   Approach to project

4)   Familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards

5)   Past Performance/References

Submittal

Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; and an estimate for the man-hours and classifications, broken out by project, to complete the project.

Please email your Statement of Qualifications to: City of Bremerton, Andrea Archer-Parsons, P.E., at andrea.archer-parsons@ci.bremerton.wa.us no later than 12:00 p.m. (NOON) on May 19, 2020.  Submittals will not be accepted after that time and date and cannot exceed 10MB in size.
