PROJECT NAME:  County City Building - Jail Emergency Generator Replacement

LOCATION:  Tacoma, WA

BID DATE/TIME:  3/10/23 @ 1:00pm

ESTIMATED VALUE:  $2.4 million

CONTRACT DURATION:  480 calendar days

WAGE REQUIREMENTS:  This project is subject to WA State L&I prevailing wage rates.  Certified payroll will be required.

PRICING REQUIREMENTS:  The Bid Form includes TWO (2) Bid Items.  SEPARATE pricing is required.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Replace existing 500kW emergency genreator with a new 1500kW generator.  Decommission existing above ground diesel fuel storage tank.  Provide temporary 600kW temp generator to Jail HVAC MCC2 prior to removing power source to MCC2.  Submit electrical plans to Tacoma Public Utilities for plan review and pay all plan review fees.  Provide and pay for all permits and inspection fees.
