The AOC is committed to ensuring equal access to justice and to increasing informed access to the legal system. The District and Municipal Court Judges’ Association (“DMCJA”) is a 501(c)6 nonprofit corporation created through statute (Chapter 3.70) for the purpose of continuously surveying and studying the operations of courts of limited jurisdiction, suggesting rules for the administration of the courts, and reporting to the Supreme Court and Governor on the condition of business in the courts of limited jurisdiction, including recommendations for needed changes. DMCJA and AOC are system partners with a high degree of collaboration.
