SOLE SOURCE POSTING

The WSP FLSB contemplates awarding a sole source contract to Collaborative Testing Services to provide proficiency tests for the Forensic Bureau.

CTS offers tests of high quality, reasonable cost, and the availability to satisfy the large number of forensic disciplines where proficiency testing is required. Specific test offerings by CTS includes tests for the Crime Scene Interpretation and Reconstruction; Database; and six DNA tests that fit the required schedules established from previous years. In addition, CTS also offers tests for other forensic disciplines (Trace Evidence, Latent Prints, Drug Chemistry, Firearms/Toolmarks) which satisfy accreditation requirements and proficiency needs.

The contract will be issued on or about October 11, 2023 for 12 months. The dollar value is estimated at $42,000.00

Offerors contemplating the above requirements are required to submit capability statements detailing their ability to meet the state’s requirements within 5 days of this announcement.

In the absence of other qualified sources, it is the state’s intent to make a sole source award of the contract.
