CITY OF OLYMPIA REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)

DESIN SERVICES – FONES ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

 

The City of Olympia is seeking proposals from consultants to provide engineering services for the Fones Road Improvements project. The consultant’s team will provide a full range of civil engineering services necessary to provide final design and construction support. The consultant may conduct the majority of the engineering services with their own staff, or partner with other firms and sub-consultants. The initial contract will be limited to preliminary engineering services. The City reserves the right to extend the contract with the selected firm for continuation of the scope of work.

 

This is a federally-funded project with a design UDBE goal of 4%.

 

The City of Olympia in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award.

 

The deadline for this RFQ is November 19, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Earlier responses are welcome.

 

Questions related to this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to Jim Rioux, Project Manager, via email at jrioux@ci.olympia.wa.us. Questions via telephone will not be accepted. All questions to this RFQ must be received by October 31, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Local Time. Questions received after this date may not be answered. All global questions will be addressed on the Builders Exchange of Washington website under the project page within the Goods and Services category, at www.bxwa.com.  

 

Please note: if you obtain the RFQ through any other process, such as by public records request, you will NOT be added to the list of those who receive addenda and other information.
