PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Making ADA accessibility improvements at the Environment Learning Center in discovery Park. This project will correct 160 documented barriers to accessibility on the Seattle Barrier Removal Schedule. No trees and/or native vegetation will be disturbed; lawn and planting areas that are disturbed during construction will be restored once construction is completed.
PROJECT LOCATION: Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center/Visitor Center, 3801 Discovery Park Blvd, Seattle, WA 98199
ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: $960,500.00
PROJECT SCHEDULE:
Substantially Complete with 125 working days of the Notice to Proceed
Physically Complete with 145 working days of the Notice to Proceed
LIQUIDATION DAMAGES: $1,000.00 for each Working Day that the work has not been achieved Substantial Completion (exclusive of those days where the engineer has granted an extension of time)
PRE-BID INSPECTION/MEETING (OPTIONAL): Tuesday, August 2, 2022 @ 10:00am

Subcontractors and Suppliers who are WMBE Certified are encouraged to submit a quote on this project.
For wage determination, please use Prevailing Wages.
BID DUE DATE & TIME: Thursday, August 9th @ 2:00PM
Proposals may be emailed to estimating@ohnoconstruction.com or faxed to 206-324-8063. Quotes are required at least 2 hours prior to bid time. Proposals received after the Bid Due Date and Time will NOT be considered.
