ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Pateros, Washington, at City Hall located at 113 Lakeshore Drive, Pateros, WA 98846 until 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2020 and will then and there be opened and publicly read aloud. Due to COVID-19 protocol, the public opening may be performed remotely via telephone or web based video conference. Participation instructions will be sent to planholders prior to the bid opening.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

The work generally consists of:

Water main replacements and additions to include fire hydrants, valves and appurtenances and service meters and service line replacements.

The project is located within the City of Pateros city limits, properties and rights-of-way.

Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bid bonds in an amount not less than 5% of the amount bid are to be made payable to the City of Pateros. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful bidder.

The project is funded by a loan from the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development program.
