Project Description:
Base bid: work at duplex buildings 44, 45, 46, 47.
Summary of work at each duplex building:
1. Remove existing hydronic HVAC system and replace with new variable refrigerant flow (vrf) heat pump system with dedicated outside air units.
2. Remove existing steam to water domestic hot water system and replace with new domestic heat pump water heaters.
3. Restore landscaping to existing condition (or better) to accommodate exterior Mechanical/electrical work.
4. Design shown in these plans is for one typical duplex building, and applies to quantity of buildings indicated on campus map below.
5. A separate campus project to upgrade duplex building power is in progress at the same time. The work of the separate project must be done to provide the power needed for this project. Contractor shall coordinate with other project contractor for scheduling and access.
Alternate bid 1: work at duplex building 48. Same as other duplex buildings.
