142ND PLACE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS Phase 2

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Duvall until 10:00 a.m. (as determined by the clock in the Clerk’s office) on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Bids may be delivered to CITY Hall, 15535 Main Street NE, Duvall, Washington 98019 or mailed to the mailing address of P.O. Box 1300, Duvall, Washington 98019. Bids mailed to the address set forth for delivery of Bids will not be delivered by the postal service. Any Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.

OPENING OF BIDS: The Bids will be publicly opened and read at 10:05 on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Duvall Visitors Center, 15619 Main Street NE, Duvall, WA 98019.

COMPLETION OF WORK: The Work must be completed within 60 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Work to be performed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for the following:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work in this contract includes construction of approximately 800 LF of sidewalk, curb, and gutter on the north side of NE 142nd Avenue between 275th Avenue NE and 278th Avenue NE and other related activities as specified in the contract documents.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The Contract Documents are available through the City of Duvall’s online plan room at http://bxwa.com. Contact Builders Exchange of Washington at (425) 258‑1303 should assistance be required.

BIDS TO REMAIN OPEN: The Bidder shall guarantee the total Bid price for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening.

PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All communications relating to the Project shall be directed to the following PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE prior to the opening of the Bids:

OWNER’S RIGHTS RESERVED: The City of Duvall reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the City of Duvall.

This project is financed through the King County CDBG Consortium and PROJECT OWNER with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) and Housing and Urban Development, along with Build America Buy American Acts (BABA).

Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 and BABA requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents.
