Eastrail North Segment Tie Removal and Interim Trail Phase 2

This project provides for the improvement of a section of the King County Parks’ Eastrail Main Segment from the County’s ownership in Kirkland at MP 20.4 (adjacent to the east side of 132nd Ave NE) to Redmond-Woodinville Rd NE at MP 23.7 (approximately 110 feet beyond the east edge of the roadway); and improvement of a section of the Eastrail Spur Segment from NE 124th St at MP 3.4 (adjacent to the north edge of the roadway) to NE 175th St (approximately 530 feet beyond the north edge of roadway) by removing railroad infrastructure (timber ties), restoring the railbed with the placement and compaction of 4-inches of ADA crushed gravel material on top of the railroad ballast, installation of chain link fence, placement of removable bollards and boulders at crossings, erosion control, installation of signage, and other associated work.
