Economic Analysis
The State of Washington, Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) intends to post an RFI for vendors who may be interested in the provision services in the field of Economic Analysis. The purpose of this RFI is to assist DCYF in better understanding the terminology, personnel, job classifications, costs, and duties associated with Economic Analysis. This RFI will not result in the award of a contract. Rather, your responses will be used to draft a subsequent Request for Proposals (RFP), or similar competitive procurement vehicle, for parties who would be interested in the provision of Economic Analysis Services.
More specifically, The State of Washington, Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) #21-DCYF-FD-023 seeking information from prospective bidders who have expertise in the field of financial analysis and economic modeling. More specifically, DCYF is interested in better understanding the services offered by firms which offer consulting in the area of financial analysis and economic modeling. DCYF is interested in engaging people, within this area of expertise, in order to analyze the different social services offered by the agency. In doing so, DCYF wants to analyze and understand the costs incurred by a provider and what would constitute a reasonable rate of return. The end result of these efforts will be the establishment of rates that are firmly supported by objective data.
It is the intent of DCYF to issue this RFI on or about March 26th, 2021, with final responses being due on April 28th, 2021. An online conference may be held on April 21st, 2021. During this online conference, prospective vendors would be encouraged to engage in a dialogue which would foster a better understanding of DCYF’s needs, along with the capabilities of prospective providers.
The RFI, along with any attachments and amendments related to this RFI, will be posted on Washington’s Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS). WEBS can be accessed at: https://fortress.wa.gov/ga/webs/.
All Responders must register as a vendor on WEBS, using an appropriate commodities code listed in the RFI, and must download the RFI and any attachments from WEBS. This should be done as soon as possible in order for responder to receive notifications automatically generated on WEBS.
