Port of Edmonds Request for engineering proposals:
Engineering and permit assistance for facilities maintenance and upkeep Project No. 2023-467

Due Date:  Proposals for this project will be received at the Port of Edmonds Administration Office, 336 Admiral Way, Edmonds, WA  98020 until 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 5, 2023.  Any proposals received after the specified time and date will not be considered.  Proposals may also be emailed to engineering@portofedmonds.org It is the proposer’s responsibility to confirm submittal has been received.

Scope of Work:  The scope of work includes providing labor, materials and equipment necessary to: prepare plans, drawings, documents and plan notes for engineering projects to include: engineering studies and solutions for facilities maintenance and upkeep as per specifications. Submit for permits and track progress through to completion, support with technical questions during any public work bidding process.

Pre-Bid Meeting:  A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project. Please submit all questions by no later than 1 pm, December 4, 2023 to engineering@portofedmonds.org . No guarantees are made for staff availability.

Work Start & Completion Dates:  Work shall be substantially complete in one calendar year from date of contract award, permit availability dependent, in which case an extension may be offered with a written request.  Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, insurance documentation, IRS W-9.

Insurance:  Commercial General Liability, Business Auto, Worker’s Comp, and Employer’s Liability (Stop Gap), professional liability insurance coverage will be required for this project.

Obtaining proposal package:  Project proposal documents will be available starting Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at bxwa.com under Port of Edmonds, goods and services.

Questions and Addendums: Answers to emailed written questions received (no verbal conversations) may be posted as addendums on the project page at bxwa.com no later than December 4, 10am.
