REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS #20-065-RFQ

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The Port of Longview (Port) is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified professionals to provide general on-call environmental planning and engineering services.  Specific projects may include but are not limited to wastewater and stormwater projects.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:  The Port of Longview will receive submittals via email to: kmetzger@portoflongview.com no later than 5:00 p.m. local time on October 30, 2020.  Submittals received will not be opened publicly.  Only electronic submittals submitted by the due date and time above will be considered.

SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS:  The complete solicitation documents may be accessed from the Port’s website at http://www.portoflongview.com/Bids.aspx by end of business day on October 9, 2020.  In addition to posting on the above website, the Port may email addenda information to all known interested parties for convenience purposes only. The Port shall not be held responsible for a firm’s failure to receive the email with addenda information. It is the sole responsibility of all interested parties to diligently visit the above-listed website to see if any addenda have been issued prior to submitting their proposal to the Port. Those interested in obtaining addenda information via email for a particular RFQ must send the Port its request in writing to the following email address: kmetzger@portoflongview.com.

PRESUBMITTAL MEETING:  A non-mandatory Pre-Submittal Virtual Meeting will be held on October 16, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. local time.  Further instructions can be found in the solicitation document. 

PRE-PROPOSAL QUESTIONS, DISCREPANCIES, AND CLARIFICATIONS:  Any discrepancies, clarifications, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the Request for Qualifications documents or doubts as to the meaning shall be brought to the Port’s attention by the proposer no later than October 21, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. Questions, discrepancies, and clarifications received after this date and time may go unanswered.  All questions, discrepancies, clarifications, etc. must be submitted electronically to: kmetzger@portoflongview.com. During the RFQ process, proposers (and their agents) are prohibited from contacting any Port offices other than the Procurement Division to obtain responses to any questions. The Port may find a proposer non-responsive for failing to adhere to any of the above requirements.
