Sealed Bids will be received by Seattle Public Schools (“SPS” or “Owner”) through and including
2:00 p.m. on June 9, 2020 at the Seattle Public Schools’ John Stanford Center, Contracting Services Section, 2445 Third Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134 for the Fairmount Park Elementary School Window Leak Repair project. The work will include, but not be limited to, complete removal of curtain wall units and related flashings and finishes required for the retrofit and installation of flexible and metal flashings. The cost range is $220,000 to $270,000. Shortly after 2:00 p.m. bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening.
The pre-bid meeting will occur in two parts.
- The first part of the pre-bid meeting will be held virtually Microsoft Teams Meetings video conferencing platform. A presentation of the project will provided and contractual requirements will also be discussed. This video conference will occur on May 20, 2020 from 1:30 - 2:30pm PST. - The second part of the pre-bid meeting will consist of three in-person outdoor site tours starting at 1:30pm (PST) on May 21, 2020 at Fairmount Park Elementary School, 3800 SW Findlay Street, Seattle, WA 98126. Please arrive at the school’s parking lot on the west side of the school building no sooner than 1:15pm. Attendance will be communicated verbally, and the tour guide will sign in each attendee. To best comply with the Governor’s March 25, 2020 Memorandum on “Construction Guidance - Stay Home Stay Healthy Proclamation” and as clarified by subsequent communications from the Governor and other state authorities, we request all attendees adhere to the following conditions:

- Attend using PPE: Wear a facemask and disposable gloves. Participants without PPE will not be allowed to attend the site tour.
- Maintain six-foot distancing where feasible, during the site tour. In order to facilitate these conditions, each tour will be limited to (6) attendees. If the attendance is full for a tour, please wait in the parking lot for the next available tour. Three tours will occur on the following schedule: #1) 1:30 – 2:15, #2) 2:30 – 3:15, #3) 3:30 – 4:15pm (PST). Each tour of the site will be conducted outside and will promptly end at the time noted.
