FAMILY CAREGIVER COUNSELING SERVICES

 

Request for Rate Quotes: This notice is a formal request for rate quotes from qualified counselors to provide services to individuals providing care to seniors and adults with disabilities in some or all of Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Skamania, and Wahkiakum Counties.  

 

Qualified Service Providers/Eligibility: To be qualified, contractors must offer emotional support, mental health interventions and coping strategies to family caregivers referred for services. Counseling services will be short-term and solution focused, and address issues such as depression, stress, anxiety, loss, grief, guilt, difficult family dynamics, anger management and other stressors that may be experienced by the caregiver.  Applicants must comply with specific program requirements outlined in Washington Administrative Codes WAC 388-106-1200 through WAC 388-106-1220, and must hold a valid Washington State Business License.  Other requirements will be reviewed during the contracting process.
