The HAZEN HIGH SCHOOL PHASED MODERNIZATION PROJECT is a four year-long 320,000 square foot tenant improvement to the existing Hazen High School. Upgrades include a complete mechanical system replacement with a ground-source well system and supporting electrical system improvements; a seismic retrofit of the existing pre-cast concrete structure; new roof; remodel of eight new science classrooms on the 1st & 2nd floors of the main classroom building; life-safety system upgrades; common space updates; and athletic field improvements. The work will be completed in four phases during summers and the school year while the building is occupied and fully functional. As part of the GCCM Alternative Selection process Eagle Harbor Associates was selected as MCCM and Sare Electric was selected as ECCM.
